For track today we have 2 miles for both warm-ups and cool down. For our workout we ran 3 miles on the canal trail. Then we ran pyramids -- 8, 6, 4, 2, 4, 6, 8 -- at 4 seconds slower than 1600 race pace. It wasn't really fast, but I'm not used to that yet so I took it a bit easy. 4x100m strides, those felt nice. I still got really sore and iced afterwards. |
