Personal:

I'm a junior at Hurricane High School. I love music. I sing in the chamber choir and I play the piano and the guitar. Other sports that I love include basketball, soccer, and racquetball. By the way, if anyone's up for a game of racquetball, I'm game! Anyways, gotta run...

Didn't get to go to SUU today cause I was up in Lehi singing.  I had a lot of fun up there and we got a superior rating.  I was going to run when I got back, but it was 9:30, dark, and really windy.  Not to mention I was way tired.  So I just went to bed.

How did you do? I was so sad I had to miss your choir since ours was right after! Shucks. Are you going up to State Large Choir on the 10th?

Great job with everything this weekend. Do you have a brother? I thought I saw some kid that looked like you today in the mile. Anyways, good job, see ya later.

Karl - beating a properly trained competitor of equal of superior natural ability with this approach would be impossible. You have the ability to beat Luke, but not with this kind of training. You must get out and run, tired or not, windy or not. Find a way to do it. If I can run 120 miles a week while providing for my wife and 5 kids, being a single teenager who still lives at home you should be able to make the time for 60.
