I'm a junior at Hurricane High School. I love music. I sing in the chamber choir and I play the piano and the guitar. Other sports that I love include basketball, soccer, and racquetball. By the way, if anyone's up for a game of racquetball, I'm game! Anyways, gotta run...
Hey Karl, my name is Ally, I'm friends with Amanda, Ruth, Jeff and them if you know them. I graduated last year but I ran cross country in high school and I remember you!! Especially when you beat John Hart at region in Hurricane! You are an amazing runner, FYI. And great job on the half!!

Karl - as soon as you feel recovered from the half, start on a schedule where you run no less than 7 miles a day 6 days a week. The pace should be easy and relaxed, do not speed, no faster than 7:00 per mile. Consistent running like this is the key to building endurance. With your speed, I think it is realistic to end the year with a time close to state record in 3200 (somewhere in the 9:15 - 9:25 range) if you backed it up with decent endurance. Who knows, I might even be underestimating your abilities, you might actually get Josh Rohatinsky's state record after all.
Hey, great job on Saturday and I'm sure you'll be tops in track as well! :)
